Nero and Cyberlink have released updates to make their software to support Windows Vista. Thanks to these updates Lite-On users no longer have to worry about Vista compatibility.

Nero has released a new version of Nero 7 which is Windows Vista compliant. This new version, called version 7.7.5.1, is available as a free download for current Nero 7 users. Lite-On currently bundles its drives with Nero 7.2. End users, who have recently purchased a new Lite-On drive or are in the market for one, can update their version to the Vista compliant 7.7.5.1 version for free.

Cyberlink has released a free update patch for PowerDVD 6. This patch will update PowerDVD 6 OEM to PowerDVD 7 OEM (works only for specific Lite-On drives), which is supported by Vista, with all functions remaining the same as usual.
